About Me
There are many people who have told me that they wished to learn about the little things about their vehicles, such as changing a tire, wiper blade or a bulb. There are a lot of places to find the information, but knowing what is fact and what is fiction, is another story.
I learned how to change a tire for the first time at the age of 13 years old, by a friend. That was my first experience with doing something on a vehicle. I enjoyed that very much. I wanted to learn more!
When I finally worked in the auto parts business, many years later, I had a lot to learn. I talked to people, asked a lot of questions, read a lot of the product information on the containers. What I didn’t know, I asked about.
I loved the auto parts business and the customers! They are what make the business so much more enjoyable (at least for me). I always enjoyed helping people finding what they needed, even by looking up those things at home, printing the information, and bringing it back into them.
My last few years in the auto parts business, I was also a commercial parts driver, counter person and cashier. I got to deliver parts to businesses in the area. I got to know the people there and the businesses. There are only a few good places I will send people. I also know some of the local car dealers.
I’m no longer in the parts business and I miss it, but I still help people in the stores read the guides in finding the right size wiper blades, bulbs for the car, and other little things. It’s what I do best!
Customer Service has gone south … It should be more about how to help the customer, than to just make money.
If you’re willing to learn, this E-Guide will help you with the little stuff. I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for reading!
Sincerely,
Sylvia Guillemette
